CM101 Equipment was founded by Don Yeoman, a lifelong equipment professional whose career has spanned farming, trucking, railroads, and dealership leadership. Don’s connection to machinery began in childhood, operating tractors such as the John Deere B, H, 730 gas, and 830 diesel, along with Minneapolis Moline and Allis Chalmers models on his family’s small farm. By 17, he had already earned his private pilot license, reflecting the same curiosity and determination that would guide his career.
His professional journey has included work as a railroad fireman and engineer with the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad, driving a 1971 Dodge 1000 semi with dry van trailers, and operating a pallet repair business. He later moved into heavy truck parts sales before building a 30-year career in Class 8 truck sales and management at Kenworth and Freightliner dealerships in Columbus, Ohio. Don also spent six years in sales and management at a living quarters horse trailer dealership, further broadening his expertise in serving business owners and their equipment needs.
